ABOUT COMPETITION

With Kalamanch, Abhyuday IIT Bombay wants to provide a platform for exceptional artists and NGOs from all backgrounds to showcase their artwork. Art and photography is the silent and subtle expression of emotions, experiences, and thoughts. Art does not show people what to do, yet engaging with a good work of art can connect one to their senses, body, and mind. Through pictures, paintings, photography and other artwork one can easily communicate what one intends to.

The Denizen Dream refers to the dream of every inhabitant of the Earth to live in an ideal world. A world where every person is self-sustainable and leads a happy and a peaceful life. This idea can be thought of as analogous to the American Dream, the only difference being, Denizen is any being belonging to this planet. People have different ideologies and perceptions on what an ideal world might look like. Everyone would strive to fill the gaps in their own lives in different aspects. While it can be eradicating unemployment for one person, it might be something else for another person. Kalamanch is the platform through which you can express your dream of this society.
