About Us

Abhyuday, IIT Bombay is a student run organization working towards creating a sense of Social Responsibility and Leadership among the youth of India.
College Representative(CR) Program is a student leadership program in which we select socially active students throughout India and guide them towards social change.


WHY DO WE HAVE CR PROGRAM?
There is a need for today’s youth to lead their generation and do good for the society.
The CR programme intends to bring out the leaders inside the students across India.

Why CR ?

  • An opportunity to enhance your communication and leadership skills and tour other Soft skills as you get to interact with other College Representatives and students from your and other colleges.
  • It will improve your social and management skills to organize social events and launch campaigns in your college.
  • You will realize that bringing a smile on someone’s face is very easy. You just have to take the first step towards it. The satisfaction you get through it will be immense.
  • By being a part of the Organization, you take a step further to create an impact and bring about a positive change in our society.

Responsibilities

COORDINATION

Coordinating with the Abhyuday team and helping organise Multicity Campaigns.

SOCIAL AWARENESS

Help us to spread awareness by publicising our posts wherever possible (e.g. in your college groups etc).

ORGANIZATION

Organise events or campaigns to create social impact.

FAQs

How long this tenure will be?

The official Tenure will range from 7-9 months. You may take a break in between if you need so. This is the time when the CR is expected to complete the tasks given and claim the rewards and incentives we provide.

What is the eligibility criteria for becoming CR?

You should be a registered student of any 10th+ college.

How much time do I have to invest?

On average, one or two hours of work weekly would suffice.

How will I get my incentives?

The majority of incentives will be shared via online mode and in some cases, we might courier it to your address.

Can I do this job without leaving the home considering such conditions?

Yeah, it is structured after considering these uncertain and unpredictable conditions revolving around COVID 19, but when it will be over throughout the nation we may introduce some changes in structure.

Terms & Conditions

  • The Certificate of Organization as College Representative will be given only if he/she fulfills the necessary conditions
  • More than one CR can be selected from a college depending upon the strength of the college
  • Abhyuday, IIT Bombay shall send all the publicity materials to the respective colleges, but will not be liable for extra cost incurred by the CR
  • The Certificate of Appreciation shall be provided only on the successful completion of the complete term
  • Abhyuday, IIT Bombay can change the terms and conditions if deemed necessary
