As the name suggests Action plan revolves around 3I’s mantra Ideate – Innovate – Implement. In order to fulfil these dreams, Abhyuday, IIT Bombay brings together the brightest from colleges, the best from corporate, the learnt from academia, the experienced from NGOs and create a platform where young minds are nurtured to create solutions that bring about grass root level changes.
Identification of the problem statement is one of the most important steps in building a solution to any social problem. In this round, you are expected to submit an overview of the exact problem you seek to solve during the Action Plan competition.
A-Plan submission round is the crux of Action plan. In this round, you are expected to submit a sound comprehensive solution. Also, the participants should have thought about the process of implementation of the solution taking guidelines from mentors.
Selected team has to present its solution to the eminent personalities.The participants are expected to present minimum viable product and customer validation of their solution.It is not necessary that participants actually implement the solution.
Mentors stand to gain the satisfaction of making a difference in fledgling entrepreneur's life and contributing back to the society. Action plan teams come from different parts of country and thus through this competition, mentors are able to get in touch with the local problems prevailing in different parts of country. As a mentor, you will not only guide students in developing an action plan of a particular social problem but also you will get an exposure of many social clashes and issues happening in different localities of India. You will be mentoring around 2-3 teams working in a sector that aligns with your field of work.
